Hello Lovelies,
I apologize for the lack of communication I have had with my beautiful friends and subscribers this week. I had far better intentions for these past few days concerning both this blog and my YouTube channel then what I have been able to produce because, yet again, I am ill. I might as well go ahead and warn you, that odds are I will be ill quite frequently. It is a fact of my existence. This week, the villain keeping me from doing what I would like to be doing is a bad bout of bronchitis. Ah, good times.
I do think that I am on the mend though. My voice is slowly coming back and the coughing seems to be less painful – for the moment, at least. So, that's good.
Hopefully I will be able to film a few videos and write up another "Subscriber Spotlight" or two before the week writes itself off as a *total* waste. Without my voice in tact, I am not able to do any auditioning for (voice over) jobs, my university is currently on spring break, and I couldn't very well follow through with my original spring break plans and do any amount of traveling like this, so I really am just laying around feeling like the biggest slacker!
Hmmm... I do hope this entry finds whoever reads this in perfectly good health, happy, and finding far better use for their time than I am.

Now, I may be a teensy bit biased. I have always suffered from an acute bout of British Envy. Honestly, you wonderful people across the pond could say absolutely anything at all and make it sound perfectly elegant! I don't know... I'm pretty sure that I would adore GoshGirl22 regardless. Sophie is impressively put-together and chic. Her love for a certain Mr. Bieber brings back incredibly fond memories of my days as a fifteen year old... which I obsessively spent pouring over a certain Mmmboping boy band! I, of course, was never ever as classy, beautiful, or caring as Sophie. Girl, your tribute to Sam Haulton was truly touching. You've got a big heart and a bright future – filled with more subscribers than you'll know what to do with, I'm sure!
The more I get to know this beautiful lady, the more I simply adore her and her amazingly chic and girly vintage flare. Though I think the majority of her vlogs are for those interested in purchasing some of the pretty things she has on her eBay shop, I personally enjoy watching her and seeing what divine outfit she puts together each day. Her style is inspiring, her healthy love for Hello Kitty adorable, and is most certainly the envy of this specific blogger! Victoria, I am SO looking forward to our swap and having further communication with you, darling! You're wonderful!

When I first came across April's channel, I assumed she had a huge following. I imagined thousands of viewers. After watching one video, I thought she had absolutely everything that a lot of the major "gurus" on YouTube have. She's personable, articulate, intelligent, has great lighting, and looks like she belongs in a Clean & Clear commercial! She has not received nearly enough recognition and quite frankly, it is a crime! She is such a sweetheart and has been absolutely lovely to me. If anyone out there is reading this right now, you have got to go check out April's videos. I am certain you will see what I mean!

After seeing her most recent video, partially titled "Does Anyone Actually Watch My Videos..:(", I felt the need to stand on a virtual rooftop and yell out to the world of my subscribers to please go watch Katie's videos! I honestly do not understand how anyone could possibly want to watch ME and not such lovely, sweet, helpful girls the likes of KatieKrushh! I am convinced that it is simply a matter of some YouTubers and their just getting "lost" somehow in the daily cycle of millions of uploads. If you had known of Katie, you would have watched her, and you would have subscribed right away (so go do so now, please?)... I think she's terrific. You will too!
MsOniGirlTV (Sophie)
If I were a casting agent and I came across MsOniGirlTV's channel and watched any of her videos I would immediately want to put her in a movie or a show... maybe Disney? She just reminds me of the kind of personalities that end up on Sonny With A Chance or Hannah Montana (and trust me, I mean that as a TOTAL COMPLIMENT!) ... she is beautiful, stylish, with a unique, refreshing, quirky-artistic touch. She is so entertaining and yet so informative and just really really great at what she does. She has fun with YouTube and honestly, isn't that how it should be? Sophie, keep up the great work, girl! I'm a fan!

She was also one of the very first people on YouTube to welcome me, taking the steps to move beyond the computer screen, and make a new friend. Her videos provide her audience with helpful tutorials, reviews, and product suggestions, which, I must say, are far better than anything I ever upload! While I'm still attempting to film a tutorial without stabbing myself in the eye with a shadow brush, Katie is super capable and a great resource for any girl of any age to turn to!

This young lady is perhaps one of the loveliest, sweetest, dearest girls I have ever had the privilege of coming across. To say that I am impressed with her, is an understatement. Her smile is infectious, her kindness is genuine, and her videos are a pleasure to watch. If only I had possessed half of her confidence and beauty when I was her age! I just think that everything about this little lady is fantastic! She is so cute and so funny. I have watched every single one of her videos and have enjoyed them all! When I was her age, I had a best friend who she reminds me SO much of! If YouTube had been around back then (how old is YouTube anyway?!), I am positive that she would have had a channel to discuss her thoughts on fashion and beauty too. Of course... since I know that old friend of mine won't be reading this... I can let you in on a little secret, Keely: you are 100x more fabulous! I came across this cutiepie's channel while lazily scouring through a search for "haul" videos. I watched her video and thought that she reminded me a lot of myself at her age - only far more articulate and a whole lot prettier! I noticed she was brand new with only a couple of videos, but subscribed, curious to see what else she would put up. Never did I expect that this gesture would lead to her next video being a call for her viewers to subscribe to me! She wrote me asking advice on starting out on YouTube (something that I have been getting asked quite often for reasons not quite understood. I'm new too!) and I attempted to give her the best response I could... and as I feel as I send each e-mail, I felt like I wasn't any help at all. I certainly didn't expect a response. She's so young. I'm not sure I would have bothered to even say 'thank you' to a complete stranger at that age.... and yet she surprised me. Big time. Thank you, Kayla, once again, for being so incredibly sweet. I am honored to be your first subscriber, but don't think for a moment that I'll be your last!

So, after a few days on YouTube, I decided to "search" my username. I hesitantly typed it into the YouTube search bar and what I found surprised me! Clicking on an unfamiliar video, I found a lovely little girl sitting with her camera pointing at her computer screen. On that screen, my YouTube channel was displayed. My own videos appeared before my eyes and for the first time, it really hit me. Girls from all across the globe were "meeting" me. There I was, my squeaky voice and all, playing in someone's bedroom countless miles away. Aoife went on to speak some of the kindest words regarding me... a compliment that I will never deserve, and I don't think that she could possibly understand what an impact seeing that has had on my approach for making videos and continuing to put myself out there. I actually have the opportunity to be involved in a community. YouTube is allowing us to reach across the world and be there for someone who you would otherwise never have known. If I never have another subscriber – if I lose all but one and that one still wants to see something, has a question, needs advice, or just someone to call a friend or figurative big sister, I really want to make myself available. Aoife, you give me far more credit than I deserve. Your e-mails are always so lovely and put such a smile on my face. Thank you endlessly, darling.
